WAYNE, Pa. (BUSINESS WIRE)
Aug.
7, 2000
SunGard (NYSE:SDS) today announced that Indocam, one of Europe's
leading asset management firms, has licensed an integrated
straight-through processing (STP) solution.
SunGard's intelliMATCH trade reconciliation and matching system and
Decalog order management and trading system have been integrated using
SunGard Business Integration's MINT Knowledge Hub.
Like many institutions in the global asset management industry, Indocam
required an STP solution to address its trade processing requirements,
to minimize manual intervention and reduce point-to-point interfaces in
its heterogeneous back-office systems environment.
Indocam's priority was the creation of a strategic Enterprise
Application Integration (EAI) platform, including external
interoperability with networks such as Oasys, Global Direct and SWIFT.
In particular, Indocam needed a complete business integration solution
to incorporate sophisticated trade matching and reconciliation
capabilities. Xavier Barrois, managing director for IT at Indocam,
explained, "We were keen to identify a major vendor who not only
provided excellent STP technology and credentials in terms of
understanding the complexities of our business process, but provided
more functionality and value added. With SunGard, we found a complete
solution offering which fully met our requirements."
Hagay Shefi, president and
chief executive officer of SunGard Business Integration, commented,
"This impressive client win represents the essence of what SunGard
Business Integration does best. We leverage the various best-of-breed
business applications from across SunGard and provide an integrated
solution through the MINT Knowledge Hub."
