 The World Chairman of the J.N.F. MR. Effy Shtentzler, the Representative  of the USA  Embassy to Israel , Ms. April Cohen, distinguished  guest of honor Mr. Ed Blank -the main Donor to the 9/11 Living Memorial in the Holy City of Jerusalem, his family and friends, the representative of the Mayor of Jerusalem , Mr. Chilik Bar, the Israeli families of the victims of the vicious Mega-Terror attack on USA, the American thousands of families that lost their love ones, in the USA and in other countries wherever they are, the Commander in Chief of the Fire-Fighters services of Israel, General Romach,          Dear guests!,

I am the most proud and the saddest father of Hagay Shefi (34),-( Founder and Ex-President and CEO of GoldTier Technologies Inc.) that after receiving his MBA degree (Magna cum Laude) from Bar Ilan University, Israel, came to USA  in 1992to study the US Market. He became a President of a US Company at the age of 29 and was murdered while being a Keynote speaker in a Conference of NY bankers assembled at the 106th floor of Tower 1 WTC.  He left a wife and two kids of 5 and 3.
In the same North Tower of WTC another Israeli genius- Shay Levinhar (29) worked at the 103rd floor at Cantor-Fitzgerald. He left a wife and a baby of 3 weeks. The 3rd Israeli citizen- Danni Lewin (32) was both a genius and a hero.  Danni was killed on board of the AA aircraft few minutes before it crashed into Tower 1 . He was a veteran of “Sayeret Matkal”- the special elite commando unit of IDF.- He listened to the highjeckers and felt that something most dangerous is about to occur. He attacked with his hands the terrorist sitting before him at the Business Class without knowing that beyond him sits a terrorist who stabbed him to death.  Danni was a graduate of M.I.T. and a founder of Akamay Tech. Inc. Danni’s parents-Dr. Peggy Lewin and Dr. Charles Lewin live in Jerusalem, however they could not be present here.  The fourth Israeli citizen-Alona Avraham (30) traveled for the first time to US. Unfortunately she left Boston  in United Aircraft that crashed into the South Tower of WTC. Alona was a talent and lovely woman of a nice and warm family from the City of Ashdod. Alona held  first degree in Industrial Management and second degree in Business Administration. Alona’s mother –Miriam, her sister and her husband Peres Avraham are with us here.

In addition: 600 Jews-US citizens were among the thousands American victims.

The 9/11 brutal attack of Al Qaida led by one of the great War-Criminals- Usama Bin Laden that murdered close to 3000 innocent and peace-loving civilians in this Mega-Terror attack, which may be considered: Crimes against Humanity, Crime against Peace, Grave War Crimes and breaches of the Hague and Geneva Conventions and Crimes against the laws of the USA.
 Bin Laden must be caught and brought to trial. All Al-Qaeda supporters by money or other means must be accountable  and brought to trial. They should not enjoy Immunity in criminal and civil proceedings, even if they are Saudi Princes.  It is outrages that the Solicitor General applied on May 29, 2009 to US Supreme Court asking to grant them immunity. This occurred few days before President Obama’s Visit to Saudia where he met with King Saud, one day before the Cairo address.                                                                      
According the laws of war, Civilians, as such, may never be a lawful target even in time of hostilities, so long as they don’t take active part in the hostilities. This is an applicable obligation to terrorist groups as well.

The families of the victims here in Israel, as well as those in the US and in other
90 states consider the Monument in the entrance to Jerusalem as the most
s a c r e d    o n e .
                                                                              
They did not stop for a moment to mourn the loss of their love ones and they are missing them and praying for their souls daily.

Since September 11th  2001 not only the entire world has been changed and civil liberties applicable in democracies had to be limited, but all the life of 3000 families has been changed from white to black. We lost our joy and we MOURN OUR LOVE ONES.

The Recognition Ceremony of the important Monumen, today, symbolizes the identification of the J.N.F. and the Donors, with the  thousands families of the victims of September 11th througout the world , with the City of NY, with USA  and with the families of the Israeli  victims. We thank the J.N.F. for the initiative, we thank the Donors and especialy Mr. Ed Blank for his noble donation, We thank  Mr. Russel Robinson the CEO of JNF USA and his Deputies. We should thank also to the Designer, Mr. Eliezer Weishoff for the impressive Monument. We thank every person  that assisted and will assist to  have this Monument in this beautiful valley of the sacred  city. The Jewish nation prayed in all generations in the past and will pray many generation to come to reach Jerusalem. We hope that the final work as regard to  the Monument and the Park, as well as the construction of the road to reach them, will come to an end soon. I am sure that thousands of people of all religions will come to see this Monument and to pray for the souls of the victims. God bless the initiators and the donor.
